Products and Services Other than Online Counseling

For products like advertisements, classified listings, courses and memberships the refunds will be governed by following policy (unless otherwise specified):-

  • Refund request must be initiated within 14 days after the payment has been made. No refund would be admissible after expiry of these 14 days, even if the subscription period service/product subscribed is yet to start.
  • In case a course has begun, ie if first module or any part of the course has been accessed by you through any medium(whether on site or email), a refund would not be admissible.

Third Party РAdvertisements, Classified Listings etc

Refunds and cancellations in respect of products/services offered through advertisements and other such listings by third parties, are not covered through the rules given in these policies. HopeNetwork.in only provides these third parties, a platform to advertise themselves much like yellow pages but focused towards mental health. Users must clarify any concerns with the advertisers before conducting any transactions with them.  HopeNetwork.in does not escrow services or mediates in any manner whatsoever between advertisers and users of HopeNetwork.in.

Counselling Services

Refunds

Due to the nature of counselling services, we do not offer refunds for the counselling services provided.

The counselling fee, once paid, will not be refunded. However, you may reschedule your appointment in consultation with the therapist only once, with at least a 24 hour notice.

If you do not make yourself available for the appointed session (without the aforesaid 24 Hour notice), the fee paid for the session would not be refunded in any manner including, but not limited to, rescheduling of such appointment.

If a therapist is unable to present himself/herself for the appointed session, another convenient schedule would be appointed, in consultation with you. If the therapist is unable to present himself/herself on the rescheduled time, you have the option of asking for cancellation and refund or reschedule again.

Cancellations

If we cancel the appointment after accepting the fee, we would refund such money on your request. You have to place a request for refund within 14 days of cancellation in order to get your refund.

In case the paid fee has been partially utilised i.e. atleast one or part of a session has been conducted before intitiating cancellation by us, refund amount will be calculated on pro-rata basis. Please note, a session lasting for 30 minutes or more would be charged for a full hour for such calculations.

If you cancel your sessions with more than 24 hours of notice, a maximum of 50% of amount paid would be refunded

We would not refund any money in case the intimation recieved by us is less than a duration of 24 hours in advance of scheduled appointment. Fee paid for remaining sessions would be refunded at 50%, if requested by you.

While intiating your request for refund/cancellation, you need to mandatorily provide following information:-

  • Transaction ID
  • Details of Payments made including date and mode of payment
  • Types of services/product purchased
  • Reason for seeking refund
  • Any other relevant information
